What is new in SAFe for Teams 6.0 course:
General Course Improvements
SAFe for Teams 6.0 is a significant refactor from the previous version. The course has been updated to align with changes associated with SAFe 6 and to incorporate feedback from the community to make the course more effective.
 
  1. The content of SAFe for Teams is updated to reflect and incorporate the core responsibilities of Agile teams and Agile Release Trains. Multiple new lessons have been introduced, and the course topics have been reordered. Lessons 1, 2, and 8 are similar to the previous version of the course, but the remaining lessons have been rebuilt. This document will highlight slide-specific changes in Lessons 1, 2, and 8, and provide topic-level overviews of each new lesson introduced.
  2. The SAFe® Practitioner certification exam has been refactored to reflect the changes to the course content.
  3. A new certification badge appears throughout the course slides and other course materials.
  4. In alignment with SAFe 6, a new version of the SAFe Big Picture has been incorporated throughout the course materials. All instances of the SAFe Big Picture align with SAFe 6.
  5. At the end of each lesson (except Lesson 8: Practicing SAFe) a slide has been added to identify any references to third-party material. Citations for quotes or books used to develop the lesson content are also included in the references slide.
  6. An Action Plan slide is included at the end of each lesson. All Action Plan slides have been updated to include lesson-specific prompts for internal reflection or group discussion. All Action Plan
  7. timeboxes have been expanded to allow learners time to share examples of action items.
  8. All trainer guidance has been reviewed and updated to provide clarity, additional examples, and additional resources to better support trainers. The trainer's guidance in all lesson topics slides offers guidance on aligning the lesson topic with the learning objectives.
  9. All activity guidance has been reviewed to minimize the need for alternative instructions or activities for remote or hybrid course offerings.
  10. Additional course improvements include bug fixes, modified slide layouts, updated graphics, and corrected typos, grammar, and punctuation.
